Freelance Data & AI Automation Consultant (Power BI & BI)

About the role

We are looking for a Freelance Data & AI Automation Consultant to design, build, and optimise intelligent reporting solutions that boost business performance and decision‑making. You will integrate data from multiple systems, create advanced Power BI environments, automate workflows, and embed AI technologies to deliver actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain sophisticated Power BI dashboards, executive KPI frameworks and data models using DAX.
• Connect, consolidate and transform data from CRM, ERP, finance, operations and external platforms; build automated data pipelines.
• Identify manual reporting tasks and implement automated workflows with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Research, evaluate and integrate AI solutions such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI and ChatGPT APIs into reporting processes.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders, translate business challenges into technical solutions, and provide training and support.
• Continuously monitor emerging BI, AI and automation technologies to improve efficiency and promote a data‑driven culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics).
• Proven experience delivering BI and automation projects, preferably in a consulting or freelance capacity.
