Freelance Linguistics Specialist – Moroccan Arabic (Darija)

About the role

We are looking for a freelance linguistics specialist fluent in Moroccan Arabic (Darija) to join Editage’s global pool of contributors. The role is fully remote and task‑based, supporting a variety of AI‑driven language projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review and refine texts, translations and captions in domains such as travel, food, lifestyle and finance.
• Transcribe spoken conversations and perform quality checks on the transcriptions.
• Label or annotate voice, text, or image content to improve AI training data.
• Review and correct outputs generated by AI models.
• Assist in localising content for AI applications.

Required profile

• Near‑native proficiency in Moroccan Arabic (Darija) and strong command of English.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
• Prior experience in translation, editing, transcription or related language tasks is preferred.

Required skills

• Fluency in Moroccan Arabic (Darija).
• Strong written English.
