Full Stack Developer – Data Platform (Microsoft Fabric & Synapse)

About the role

The Digital Transformation Department of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is seeking a Full Stack Developer to own end‑to‑end data projects. You will work on the IFRC Data Platform built on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse, delivering data models, pipelines, and Power BI reports that support humanitarian operations across finance, logistics, HR, and project management.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and clarify business requirements with stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and optimise database schemas, data vault and dimensional models on Microsoft Fabric/Azure Synapse.
• Build data pipelines using SQL and PySpark, implement data quality checks, and ensure data accuracy.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that provide actionable insights.
• Support user‑acceptance testing, resolve identified issues, and promote solutions to production.
