Full-Time Cashier – Rabat Marriott Hotel

About the role

The Cashier is responsible for processing all payment methods in line with accounting procedures and property cash‑handling standards. You will interact with guests, answer phones, and maintain a clean, organized workstation while ensuring security and accuracy of cash and bank transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Process all payment methods and follow blind‑drop cash handling procedures.
• Count and reconcile the bank at shift end, complete cashier reports, and resolve discrepancies.
• Transport bank to and from the assigned workstation securely.
• Set up and maintain a clean cashier workstation with required supplies and forms.
• Follow company safety, security, and uniform policies.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and handle telephone inquiries professionally.
• Use point‑of‑sale (POS) systems to enter transactions and retrieve work‑related information.
• Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work or supervisory experience required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect company assets.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 10 lb.

Required skills

• POS system operation.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry.
• Cash handling and bank reconciliation.
