About the role
Talan is seeking a Functional Analyst to join its remote team in Spain and support financial risk projects for banking clients. You will work on translating business needs into clear functional specifications and ensure risk‑related calculations are accurate and reliable.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and define functional requirements for market‑risk and counter‑party‑risk initiatives.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications.
- Perform data analysis and validate risk‑related calculations and implemented solutions.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm solution quality.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience on technology projects within a financial institution, focused on market risk or counter‑party risk, within the last 5 years.
- Strong knowledge of financial derivatives products.
- Intermediate proficiency in Python and SQL.
