General Manager – Luxury Hotel Transformation

About the role

The Fes Marriott Hotel Jnan Palace is embarking on a multi‑year renovation and repositioning project. We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead this transformation, ensuring operational excellence while guiding the property through its redesign and market repositioning.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a business strategy that maximizes revenue, profitability and market share in a competitive corporate market.
• Leverage Marriott’s global demand engines and identify new opportunities across corporate, institutional and international segments.
• Oversee all hotel operations, maintaining Marriott brand standards and driving continuous improvement in guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Build and lead a high‑performing executive team, fostering a culture of accountability, development and succession.
• Act as the primary liaison with ownership and stakeholders, communicating progress of the renovation and aligning on brand positioning.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in luxury or upscale hospitality, preferably with a track record of managing large‑scale renovations.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive RevPAR, rate strategy and market penetration.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to inspire teams through periods of change.
• Deep appreciation for design, storytelling and creating memorable guest experiences.
