General Manager, Morocco

About the role

We are looking for a visionary General Manager to launch and grow a new digital telco brand in the MENA region, based in Rabat. You will own the P&L and drive customer acquisition, digital experience and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the end‑to‑end go‑to‑market strategy, from pre‑launch planning to commercial scaling.
• Define and drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention strategies to achieve rapid, sustainable growth.
• Build and lead high‑performing teams across commercial, marketing, product, customer service and operations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking with full P&L accountability.
• Manage relationships with external partners (MNOs, technology providers, agencies, regulators) and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee multi‑channel digital growth initiatives and agency collaborations.
• Continuously optimise customer experience using data‑driven insights.

Required profile

• 20+ years of experience in telecommunications, digital brands or consumer technology, with leadership in Tier‑1 markets or operators.
• Proven track record launching and scaling high‑growth B2C consumer brands, preferably in a digital‑first startup environment.
• Deep understanding of telco economics, customer journeys and commercial drivers.
• Strong ability to manage and influence partners, stakeholders and external agencies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic mindset with a builder’s mentality, comfortable in fast‑paced, zero‑to‑one environments.
• Experience working in or with the MENA region; fluency in English and Arabic required, French a plus.
