General Manager – North Africa & Levant

About the role

Etihad is seeking a General Manager to lead sales operations across North Africa and the Levant. The role is responsible for driving growth, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring the airline’s market positioning aligns with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement sales strategies and objectives for the region.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust sales plans to meet revenue targets.
• Manage a team of country and sales managers, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Coordinate intermediary activities, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and governmental authorities.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and Etihad’s commercial guidelines.
• Monitor sales KPIs, identify improvement areas, and propose corrective actions.
• Lead top‑to‑top meetings with key customers to strengthen long‑term partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in airline, aviation, or large travel corporation sales.
• Proven track record of revenue growth and market expansion.
• Experience working with major or regional airlines, GDS providers, or travel corporations.
• Knowledge of airline commercial strategy and IATA standards.
