Gestionnaire de paie senior France (H/F)

About the role

We are looking for a senior French Payroll Manager to independently manage a portfolio of payrolls, ensuring full compliance with French social legislation. The role involves end‑to‑end payroll processing for a diverse workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete payroll cycle from data collection to final payslip issuance.
• Collect, verify and control payroll variables and inputs.
• Prepare and validate monthly payslips.
• Submit social declarations (DSN) and monitor contribution payments.
• Handle employee entries, exits and final settlements.
• Process absences such as paid leave, sick leave, maternity, and work accidents.
• Reconcile social charges and ensure accurate accounting.
• Maintain compliance with French labor law and collective agreements.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll.
• Participate in HR process improvements and related projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in French payroll management.
• Strong knowledge of French social legislation and collective agreements.
• Attention to detail, autonomy, organizational skills and confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with DSN and French social declarations.
• Experience with at least one payroll software (Silae, Sage Paie, Cegid, ADP or equivalent).
• Advanced Excel skills.
