Gestionnaire Risques Junior (H/F)

About the role

Bank Al-Maghrib is seeking a Junior Risk Manager to join its Monetary Operations and Exchange Department in Rabat. The role focuses on managing the risks associated with the bank's foreign‑exchange reserves and the implementation of monetary policy.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and quantify risk factors linked to foreign‑exchange reserve management and monetary policy execution.
• Develop and apply quantitative tools to monitor risk indicators and performance metrics.
• Control and validate market operations.
• Support data analysis for strategic asset allocation decisions.
• Prepare periodic reports for senior management and governance bodies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in financial modelling, statistics or a related field.
• Relevant experience, including internships, in a similar domain is desirable.
• Moroccan nationality and age under 40 years.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of financial markets and instruments (spot and derivatives).
• Excellent understanding of financial mathematics and statistics.
• Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as VBA, C++, R and Python.
• High analytical, synthesis, writing and communication abilities.
• Fluent English.
