Global Awards Advisor

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Global Awards Advisor to provide expert strategic and operational award management services to its worldwide teams. The role ensures efficient, compliant, and high‑quality use of award funds to deliver impactful programmes for children.

Key responsibilities

• Provide award management advisory, coordination and day‑to‑day operational support to global teams.
• Allocate and manage globally‑managed awards and funds, ensuring accurate and timely distribution across multiple implementing offices.
• Support planning, management and monitoring of both humanitarian and development awards, including operational oversight, budgetary and administrative assistance.
• Maintain high‑quality information management, data quality and reporting in line with donor and organisational requirements.
• Coordinate award processes with global functions, ensuring compliance, performance tracking and continuous improvement of systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in award or funding management within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong knowledge of donor requirements and organisational compliance standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global, cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Right to work in the country where the role is based for the contract duration.
• Fluent English; additional languages (Arabic, Spanish, French) are a plus.
