Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic – Agadir

About the role

Swissport is seeking a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Mechanic to join its team in Agadir. The role involves maintaining and repairing a wide range of airport ground support equipment to ensure safety, reliability and operational readiness in a fast‑paced aviation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on GSE, including hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, welding, panel beating and painting to restore equipment to serviceable condition.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with subcontractors, validate work orders and spare‑parts requests.
• Maintain accurate intervention and inventory reports, and monitor the preventive‑maintenance schedule.
• Handle wheelchairs and support accessories, and participate in incident investigations and reporting.

Required profile

• Technical degree (Bac+2) in mechanics or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience maintaining ground support or similar heavy equipment.
• Ability to read technical documentation and manufacturer manuals.
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards.
