Group M&A Project Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Group M&A Project Lead to join ECCBC’s Corporate Strategy & M&A team at the Head Office. Reporting to the Head of Group Mergers & Acquisitions, you will help define and execute the corporate strategy and drive growth through mergers and acquisitions.

Key responsibilities

• Support development of the corporate strategy plan and perform strategic market assessments.
• Collect and analyse market, industry and competitor information for steering committees and senior management.
• Screen, assess and maintain the M&A pipeline, managing relationships with advisors and investment banks.
• Perform financial analysis, valuation and business case modelling for potential transactions.
• Coordinate due‑diligence workstreams, negotiate key transaction terms and support closing activities.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• 2–3 years of project‑management experience in financial or operational environments.
• Previous consulting or investment‑banking experience is a plus.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Financial analysis, valuation and financial modelling capabilities.
• Operational financial knowledge including P&L, working capital, debt projections and investments.
• Understanding of the M&A transaction process and ability to coordinate due‑diligence workstreams.
