Hardware Engineer – PCB Design (Siemens Xpedition)

About the role

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to lead complete PCB design projects from provided schematics. You will work on low‑voltage, high‑current boards, handling both through‑hole and SMD components, and contribute to innovative mobility solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop full PCB layouts using Siemens Xpedition Layout (VX2.14 or similar).
• Create designs for 2, 4, or 6‑layer stack‑ups with high‑current through‑hole parts such as fuses, terminals, relays, and busbars.
• Integrate SMD support circuitry including ICs, capacitors, diodes, resistors, and inductors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design meets manufacturing constraints and DFM principles.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on PCB layout experience, preferably in industrial or automotive environments.
• Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing, DFM, and ability to read schematics and BOMs.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of working independently or within a team.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

• Siemens Xpedition Layout (VX2.14 or similar)
• Siemens DxDesigner (schematic capture)
• PCAD (legacy layout and schematic)
• Gerber viewers such as CAM350 or CamTastic
• PCB design, signal integrity, power distribution, thermal management
