Head of Finance (CFO) – Morocco

About the role

The Head of Finance for Allianz Services Morocco will own the P&L, balance sheet and all finance, controlling, safeguarding and procurement functions. Reporting to headquarters in Munich, the role drives financial planning, risk management and compliance while acting as a strategic business partner for the Moroccan entity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Finance, Controlling, Contract Management, Risk Management, Procurement, Legal, Data Privacy & Compliance teams.
• Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations: accounting (statutory & IFRS), tax (VAT, CIT, withholding), treasury, billing, pricing and controlling.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of revenue, cost and EBIT variances and manage cash flow and closing processes.
• Prepare and submit reports to local authorities (Tax Office, Statistical Office, National Bank) and to headquarters.
• Develop and implement pricing frameworks, internal charge allocation guidelines and ensure compliance with group rules and external regulations.
• Support strategic and planning dialogues, drive profitability improvements and collaborate with operational excellence functions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of senior finance leadership experience in an international, customer‑driven financial services organization.
• Strong knowledge of Moroccan statutory requirements, transfer‑pricing rules and IFRS.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Controlling.
• Fluent in English and French, with proven ability to interact with C‑level stakeholders.
• Experience managing multicultural teams and driving complex finance process improvements.
