Head of Finance

About the role

Glovo is seeking a Head of Finance to lead the financial function for its operations in Morocco. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will shape the country’s financial strategy, ensure robust performance monitoring, and support cross‑functional initiatives that drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the GM to define long‑term financial goals and translate them into monthly and quarterly targets.
• Implement corporate strategy at country and city levels, coordinating with operations, marketing, procurement and commercial teams.
• Lead profitability analyses for new ideas, investments and projects, and drive cross‑functional improvement initiatives.
• Manage treasury activities, optimise cash flow and ensure seamless day‑to‑day finance operations.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual P&L and balance‑sheet reports, and coordinate the preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Maintain relationships with external auditors, tax authorities and consultants, and optimise fiscal policies including VAT compliance.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, audit or corporate finance.
• Strong analytical mindset, goal‑orientation and ability to work collaboratively.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
• Hands‑on, autonomous and capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and French; Arabic is a plus.
