Head of Finance

About the role

Glovo is looking for a Head of Finance to lead financial performance and operations for its Morocco market, working closely with the General Manager and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define long‑term financial goals with the GM and set monthly/quarterly targets.
• Implement corporate strategy in annual planning at country and city level.
• Work with operations, marketing, finance, procurement and commercial teams to ensure profitable execution and analyse new business ideas.
• Lead cross‑functional projects to improve profitability and study investment viability.
• Manage treasury function, ensure optimal cash flow and maintain 100% satisfaction for customers, partners and couriers on finance topics.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual P&L and balance‑sheet reports.
• Coordinate financial statements and lead relationships with auditors, tax authorities and external consultants.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, audit or corporate finance.
• Strong analytical skills, goal‑oriented and able to work in teams.
• Hands‑on, autonomous and able to influence stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and French; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (or Google Spreadsheets) for data manipulation and reporting.
• VAT tax knowledge and fiscal policy optimisation.
