Head of Maintenance Department (Stadium)

About the role

The Head of the Maintenance Department will lead the technical upkeep of a major sports stadium, ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently, especially during high‑profile international events.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of all technical installations including electricity, HVAC, plumbing, low‑voltage and security systems.
• Supervise and coordinate the department’s technical teams.
• Prepare, launch and monitor tenders and maintenance contracts.
• Manage operating and investment budgets and track performance indicators.
• Provide technical coordination for major international sporting events hosted at the venue.

Required profile

• Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) in technical management of large‑scale sports infrastructures such as stadiums or multi‑sport complexes.
• Proven ability to plan budgets and monitor key performance metrics.
• Strong resilience to stress and capacity to work under tight event‑driven timelines.
• State Engineer degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering or an equivalent qualification.
