Health, Safety, Environment & Facility Manager (m/w/d)

About the role

The company seeks a senior professional to lead and develop its Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Facility Management functions. You will ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental and fire protection regulations while maintaining safe, clean and functional workplace conditions across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain HSE management systems (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001).
• Conduct risk assessments, drive incident investigations and lead continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Organise safety training, awareness programmes and emergency response activities.
• Manage environmental protection programmes, waste management and hazardous substances.
• Oversee facility operations, maintenance, technical infrastructure and utility systems (electrical, HVAC, water, wastewater, compressed air).
• Plan and supervise maintenance, renovation, modernisation and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and external service providers.
• Ensure completion of inspections, audits, certifications and regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgets, monitor costs and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Drive sustainability, energy management and operational excellence initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Facility Management, Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in HSE, Facility Management or related functions within a manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience, including team development, performance management and budget responsibility.
• Automotive industry experience is required; experience in wiring harness manufacturing is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety, environmental, fire protection and facility‑related regulations.
• Proven experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Fluent in English and French; Arabic or additional languages are a plus.
