Healthcare Virtual Professional (Remote)

About the role

MyOutDesk is seeking compassionate, detail‑oriented professionals to provide virtual administrative and operational support to U.S. healthcare organizations. In this remote position you will help clinics and providers deliver efficient, high‑quality patient care through non‑clinical tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational assistance to healthcare providers, clinics, and organizations.
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, insurers, and other stakeholders via phone, email, or chat.
• Accurately document, update, and maintain patient and healthcare records following established procedures.
• Assist with appointment scheduling, patient coordination, insurance verification, referrals, and related support tasks.
• Perform data entry, research, and information verification with high accuracy.
• Monitor work queues, prioritize tasks, and meet productivity, quality, and turnaround expectations.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure efficient workflows and timely issue resolution.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information in compliance with privacy and security standards.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and contribute to operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Fluent English (C2 level, spoken and written).
• Minimum 2 years experience in the U.S. healthcare industry (providers, insurance, care coordination, billing, or similar).
• At least 2 years experience in a call‑center, virtual assistant, lead‑generation, or outbound‑calling role.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar).
