Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Hotel is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead daily shift operations for housekeeping, recreation/health club, and laundry (if applicable). The role ensures guest rooms, public areas, and employee zones are clean, well‑maintained, and meet the property’s quality standards while supporting guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping, recreation, and laundry shift activities.
• Inspect guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring timely communication of room status to the Front Desk.
• Prepare work assignments based on room turnover lists and manage inventory of supplies.
• Maintain and monitor departmental budgets, aiming to meet or exceed financial targets.
• Ensure all staff have proper equipment, uniforms, and supplies.
• Conduct regular training, schedule staff, and track attendance.
• Apply consistent HR policies, handle disciplinary actions, and support employee recognition programs.
• Participate in departmental meetings and communicate goals clearly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of housekeeping or related experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (no experience required).
• Strong understanding of housekeeping operations, budgeting, and guest service standards.
