HSE Engineer (M/F)

About the role

Valeo is looking for an HSE Engineer to ensure that safety, security and environmental standards are met across its industrial sites. You will work closely with production teams to embed practical, compliant solutions that protect people and assets.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that safety and security equipment complies with requirements and remains in good condition.
• Conduct risk analyses and monitor regulatory surveys.
• Develop and enforce site-specific Health, Safety, Security and Environment procedures.
• Perform inspections and internal audits, propose corrective actions and track their implementation.
• Manage non‑compliance issues identified during audits, including budgeting for necessary investments.
• Stay up‑to‑date with legislative developments affecting HSE practices.

Required profile

• Engineer degree (Bac+5) in industrial management, EHS or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong motivation to improve safety standards and take ownership of results.
