Import‑Export Coordinator

About the role

As an Import‑Export Coordinator you will manage the full lifecycle of inbound and outbound shipments for a large manufacturing site, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and internal processes. You will work closely with customs brokers, suppliers, and internal teams to guarantee smooth delivery of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and validate all export documentation, obtain licences and coordinate invoice release.
• Monitor shipment data entry in SAP, activate billing, and provide day‑to‑day tracking and problem resolution.
• Work with customs brokers to ensure proper customs clearance for both imports and exports.
• Check import documents for correct values, commodity classifications, tariff codes and record deliveries in SAP.
• Maintain accurate records of all import/export documents and stay up‑to‑date with local regulations.
• Lead and train a small team of shipment administrators on import/export laws and procedures.

Required profile

• Vocational diploma in logistics (Bachelor preferred) with 2‑4 years of shipping/logistics experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in people management (0‑2 years) is a plus.
• Good understanding of warehouse flow, transportation supplier landscape and product safety/security norms.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (shipping module) and MS Office.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs documentation.
