In Store Logistics Manager

About the role

The In Store Logistics Manager leads the in‑store logistics team, ensuring excellence in planning and executing the goods‑flow process in close cooperation with business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the Goods Flow Manager matrix, providing tools, methods and competence development.
• Develop talent and succession plans within In‑store Logistics to support IKEA’s growth.
• Plan, develop and improve logistics supply operations for stores, ensuring KPI fulfilment.
• Partner with commercial teams to create Retail Logistics action plans aligned with the country business plan.
• Support stores in efficient goods‑flow operations and collaborate with supply partners for smooth product availability.
• Analyse stock development and contribute to inventory management processes.
• Share expertise on goods‑flow principles, health and safety, and support competence development of partners.

Required profile

• Excellent leadership, analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong ability to present, facilitate and influence business decisions.
• Good understanding of IKEA manuals, especially In‑Store Logistics and Retail Supply Integration.
• Proven record of successful leadership in retail or logistics environments.
• Ability to manage high‑volume retail settings with flexibility, speed and simplicity.
