Industrial Quality Engineer

About the role

Alstom is looking for an Industrial Quality Engineer to join its Fez workshop. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality throughout the manufacturing process, supporting the transition to a low‑carbon future in the mobility sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage industrial quality activities, including KPI monitoring and team coordination.
• Stop production when defects require mandatory rework.
• Participate in process FMEA definition and maintain up‑to‑date Quality Control Plans.
• Validate customer approvals, documentation, and product compliance before shipment.
• Lead line‑quality animation with cross‑functional teams and drive problem‑solving initiatives.
• Record inspection results, follow up on findings, and manage NCRs for non‑conforming products.
• Support manufacturing teams with self‑inspection, training, and audit activities.
• Conduct internal monitoring audits and ensure action‑plan effectiveness.
• Participate in monthly KPI meetings and achieve APSYS scoring targets.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or Industrial Engineering diploma.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive or railway industry.
• Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
• Dynamic, rigorous, motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Quality tools management (8D, QRQC, Ishikawa, 5 Why).
• FMEA creation and control‑plan management.
• NCR handling and product acceptance/rejection procedures.
• Inspection data recording and KPI analysis.
