Industrialization & Manufacturing Manager

About the role

The Industrialization & Manufacturing Manager will design, deploy and scale automation‑driven manufacturing processes for Harmattan AI’s defense systems at local production sites. Reporting to the General Manager, the role works closely with Quality, Supply Chain and Procurement to translate the global manufacturing strategy into actionable local plans.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Harmattan’s manufacturing strategy on site, adapting it to local constraints.
• Lead the industrialisation of new products, ensuring manufacturability, repeatability and high quality.
• Recruit, train and up‑skill operators, methods and quality personnel to meet production volume targets.
• Collaborate with suppliers to qualify components and processes.
• Coordinate with the global manufacturing team to align standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in automation engineering, industrialisation or manufacturing engineering, preferably in aerospace, defence, advanced electronics or mechatronics.
• Demonstrated ability to take products from prototype to serial production.
• Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), PFMEA and lean manufacturing.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules, including evenings or weekends when required.
