Information Technology Technician – On‑Premise Support

About the role

The Information Technology Technician provides on‑premise support for end‑users and office infrastructure. You will be the first point of contact for hardware, software and network issues, ensuring smooth daily operations within the office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, mobile phone and peripheral issues across Windows, macOS and Linux platforms.
• Provision, de‑provision and image corporate devices, manage asset registration and disposal according to Ericsson procedures.
• Install, test and maintain basic network equipment such as switches, routers, access points, and support out‑of‑band, firewall, NAC, DNS and Secnet components.
• Perform connectivity troubleshooting for Wi‑Fi and LAN, and support smart office solutions including smart metering, sensors and digital signage.
• Assist with AV equipment, PABX basics, workplace monitor deployment and coordinate with Level‑2 teams for escalations.
• Maintain accurate incident records, coordinate vendor repairs, escort third‑party providers, and support audit and compliance activities.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with end‑user hardware and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Familiarity with device lifecycle management, imaging and asset tracking.
• Basic networking knowledge and ability to configure switches, routers and access points.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
