Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Deliverect is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and maintain the cloud platform that powers its API‑first commerce solutions. The role is fully remote and will have a direct impact on the reliability and scalability of services used by food and retail businesses worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Improve high‑availability of Dockerised micro‑services and ensure platform stability.
• Deploy, manage and scale services on Kubernetes clusters across global regions.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and promote GitOps and immutable‑infrastructure practices.
• Own the full release lifecycle, delivering code to production and staging environments.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions to accelerate delivery.
• Build and maintain observability stack – logging, performance monitoring, uptime alerts and tracing.
• Optimize database performance, manage backups, restorations and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to provide tooling, support post‑incident recovery and improve security best practices.
• Participate in on‑call rotation to resolve incidents quickly and communicate with stakeholders.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps within an agile environment.
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong background in cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Proven ability to work independently and drive reliability initiatives.
