Infrastructure & Platform Operations Engineer

About the role

The Infrastructure & Platform Operations Engineer is responsible for Day‑2 operations of the compute, Kubernetes, storage and backup layers of a government‑grade platform. Working on‑site in Rabat, you will ensure service continuity, respond to incidents, and maintain compliance‑critical logging and audit trails.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor health of three Kubernetes clusters (DMZ, Core, Red Zone) and resolve node, pod and storage issues.
• Perform node maintenance, including cordon, drain, firmware updates and OS patches.
• Manage namespace quotas, network policies, RBAC, and rotate certificates and secrets.
• Oversee Ceph storage health, replace failed OSDs, and monitor capacity thresholds.
• Coordinate backup and recovery lifecycle, ensuring observability pipelines are accurate.
• Collaborate with the Network & Security Operations Engineer on incidents that involve the Fortinet security fabric.

Required profile

• CKA certification required; CKS preferred.
• Dell EMC Proven Professional certification preferred.
• Proven experience in Day‑2 operations of Kubernetes and Ceph environments.
• Strong understanding of security fabric management and compliance requirements.
