About the role

We are looking for a Functional Test Engineer to join our European digital transformation team. You will ensure the quality of web, mobile and API applications by designing, executing and documenting functional test scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse functional requirements and define a traceable test approach.
• Design, structure and execute manual and basic automated functional tests across web, mobile and API layers.
• Prepare test environments, manage test data and continuously improve QA tools and methodologies.
• Identify, report and track defects while collaborating closely with development, product and business teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and mentor junior testers.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in functional testing, preferably in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented, autonomous with strong English communication skills.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Manual functional testing on web and/or mobile applications.
• Writing clear test cases, executing tests and producing reports.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML and validation with Postman.
• Test management tools: Jira, Xray, TestLink, HP ALM.
• Collaboration tools: Confluence, Microsoft Teams.
• Multi‑device testing using BrowserStack, iOS/Android devices.
• Basic automation knowledge with Selenium, Karate, Katalon.
• Exposure to CMS/ERP platforms such as Drupal or Hybris/HMC is a plus.
