Injection Molding Engineer

About the role

The Injection Molding Engineer will be responsible for optimizing and continuously improving injection molding processes to meet production and quality targets. The role is based in the Oriental Region and requires close collaboration with production, maintenance, and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize injection molding processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in validation and industrialization of new molds and equipment.
• Analyze production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate maintenance activities as needed.
• Document and report technical interventions and process updates in SAP.
• Support 5S implementation and other continuous improvement projects within the department.
• Assist equipment and process improvement projects following engineering standards and technical drawings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities for process and technical issues.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Willingness to be based in the Oriental Region.

Required skills

• Experience with Arburg injection molding machines.
• Experience with Optimel injection molding machines.
• Process optimization expertise.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance coordination.
• Knowledge of safety standards and industrial regulations.
• Proficiency in SAP for documentation and reporting.
• Familiarity with 5S methodology and continuous improvement practices.
