Inspecteur Mécanique Engins – Mine

About the role

The Mechanical Equipment Inspector will ensure the reliability and safety of mining machinery by conducting regular inspections, measuring key parameters, and reporting findings. This position is based at the Zgounder mine in the Askaoun commune, Taliouine region.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections of mechanical equipment following established procedures.
• Measure pressure, temperature, and vibration to assess equipment condition.
• Analyze inspection data to identify anomalies, malfunctions, and potential failures.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports with problem identification, repair recommendations, and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to plan corrective and preventive interventions.
• Monitor the effectiveness of maintenance actions and ensure compliance with ZMSM / AYA GOLD & SILVER safety standards.
• Report safety and environmental issues to the shift supervisor and promote a safe work environment.

Required profile

• Bac+2 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Maintenance.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance or inspection, preferably in a mining or heavy‑industry setting.
• Strong analytical mindset, autonomy, and rigor in task execution.
• Good communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
