Installation Engineer – Elevators (Marrakech / Casablanca / Rabat)

About the role

KONE is looking for a proactive and experienced Installation Engineer to lead installation activities on-site in Marrakech, Casablanca or Rabat. The role ensures the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity, delivers successful projects, maintains strong customer relationships and drives continuous improvement across installation operations.

Key responsibilities

• Take full accountability for safety, quality and productivity during installation and handovers, and ensure compliance with KONE installation methods, tools and safety standards, including risk assessments where required.
• Plan, organise and manage installation activities, logistics, materials and site resources, and monitor progress, costs, schedules and risks against project plan milestones.
• Carry out site audits, inspections and quality checks, resolve non-conformities with stakeholders, and lead final testing and defect closure before handover to maintenance.
• Manage installation documentation, reporting, time approvals and environmental compliance (waste and hazardous materials).
• Act as the primary on-site contact for customers and deliver a professional, safe and timely installation experience.
• Lead and support installation teams, including KONE employees and subcontractors, ensuring they are trained, certified and competent, and promote a strong safety culture and wellbeing.
• Build relationships with subcontractors, support cost control, variation sales and change orders, and assist in verifying payment milestones and contract compliance.
• Drive LEAN practices and continuous improvement, reducing waste and improving workflows, and coach teams to adopt best practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Elevator and escalator industry experience is a must.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in project management, including managing subcontractors.
• Ability to comply with the Project Management Office on scope, schedule and budget.
• PMP qualification is desirable.
• Effective stakeholder management, leadership and coaching abilities, and a strong customer focus.
