International Buyer (Portuguese)

About the role

As an International Buyer you will manage product families and a portfolio of suppliers, sourcing overstocks, liquidations and unsold goods worldwide. You will align purchases with the company’s strategy, negotiate contracts and ensure delivery timelines while maintaining quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and purchase surplus inventory at optimal prices on the international market.
• Negotiate purchasing conditions and prices to secure favorable terms.
• Follow up on orders, ensuring all required documentation is complete.
• Utilize internal software and office resources efficiently.
• Handle claims and disputes with customers and vendors promptly.
• Maintain regular communication with managers and support staff.
• Achieve qualitative and quantitative objectives set by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Commercial, Procurement Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in international buying, purchasing or supplier negotiation, preferably in similar product categories.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities, with excellent English; French is a plus.
• Commercial mindset with a strategic approach to purchasing.
• Professionalism, confidentiality and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.
