Inventory Specialist

About the role

Copart is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage vehicle inventory at one of its facilities. You will use company‑provided tools to document vehicle condition, capture photographs, and ensure a complete, accurate inventory within established timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area.
• Operate a camera and handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
• Determine operational capability of motor vehicles.
• Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of all materials used.
• Direct traffic flow in the receiving area to ensure timely processing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and procedural standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• General automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Bilingual skill a plus.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Handheld inventory device operation.
• Camera operation for vehicle photography.
