Inventory Specialist

About the role

Copart is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage vehicle inventory at one of its facilities. You will use company‑provided tools to document vehicle condition, photograph each unit, and ensure a smooth flow of traffic in the receiving area.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area.
• Operate a camera and handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
• Determine operational capability of motor vehicles and complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs).
• Direct traffic flow to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory.
• Maintain inventory of all materials used and comply with company policies and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• General automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude (preferred).
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Team‑oriented mindset.
• Driver’s license preferred.
• Bilingual ability a plus.
