iOS Developer – Mobile SDK

About the role

Cafeyn is looking for an experienced iOS Developer to join its Engineering team in Tangier on a permanent basis. You will work on the core mobile SDK that powers Cafeyn’s digital reading services, delivering clean, scalable APIs and supporting the iOS app team when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain new features within the Cafeyn iOS SDK.
• Design public APIs with strong versioning and backward‑compatibility guarantees.
• Write, maintain and expand unit, integration and UI tests for SDK components.
• Assist the iOS app team with feature development, bug fixing and performance improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Improve and, when required, migrate legacy Objective‑C code.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience with Swift and a solid grasp of iOS architecture patterns, especially MVVM.
• Proven track record building SDKs or reusable libraries.
• Strong testing discipline (unit, integration, UI).
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate effectively.
