IQC Technician

About the role

The IQC Technician leads the Incoming Quality Control function, ensuring that all incoming materials meet company and customer quality requirements. The role supports production by conducting effective inspections, coordinating with suppliers, and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the daily activities of the IQC shop.
• Verify that incoming materials comply with quality standards and specifications.
• Investigate and resolve material quality issues with suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor inspection activities and maintain accurate quality records.
• Train and develop IQC inspectors.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of inspection equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement of IQC processes and support compliance with the Quality Management System.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quality, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in IQC leadership or Supplier Quality within the automotive or electronics industry.
• Knowledge of IQC processes, electronic components, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 is an advantage.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems.
