Issue Manager

About the role

ALTEN Delivery Center Morocco is seeking an Issue Manager to lead and coordinate issue management activities within automotive projects. The role involves analysing incoming issues, performing root‑cause analysis and driving corrective actions to ensure timely resolution and project quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and monitor issue management and problem‑solving activities across vehicle development projects.
• Analyse incoming issues, collect background information and perform first‑level root cause analysis.
• Generate reports, dashboards and status updates, and assess impacts, risks and consequences of corrective actions.
• Partner with project stakeholders to define and implement solutions, and monitor corrective action plans to ensure issue closure.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, define new processes and best practices to prevent issue recurrence.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience in automotive electrical & electronic (E/E) architecture, vehicle development processes and issue management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to conduct root‑cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.

• Automotive E/E architecture design and analysis.

• Diagnostic and log analysis tools such as DiAnalyzer, CDA, CANalyzer and CANdela.
• Root‑cause analysis, risk assessment and corrective‑action planning.
• Systems engineering and cross‑functional team collaboration.
