Junior AML/KYC Officer – Marrakech

About the role

We are seeking a Junior AML/KYC Officer to join our Marrakech office. You will support the compliance function by conducting due‑diligence, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring of investors in line with Luxembourg and Moroccan regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform AML/KYC due diligence on new and existing investors.
• Review and assess documentation, identify gaps, and ensure timely remediation.
• Conduct risk assessments and assign appropriate customer risk classifications.
• Carry out ongoing monitoring and periodic reviews of investor records.
• Escalate complex or high‑risk cases to the Compliance team and support resolution.
• Handle internal and external AML‑related queries within agreed deadlines.
• Prepare and maintain AML/KYC files and contribute to regulatory, audit and ad‑hoc reporting.
• Follow up on incidents, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and investors while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Participate in AML/CFT projects, regulatory initiatives and process‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong interest in AML/CFT, financial‑crime prevention and the investment‑fund industry.
• Eagerness to learn Luxembourg AML/CFT regulations.
• Analytical, organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail with a risk‑based mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in French and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
