Junior Data Scientist – Casablanca

About the role

As a Junior Data Scientist at Artefact, you will work on data‑driven projects that help clients transform their marketing and business processes. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and may travel internationally to support client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct ambitious data transformation projects for clients.
• Contribute to raising the competency level of the data‑science team.
• Leverage expertise from the Activation, Creativity and Strategy divisions to deliver comprehensive services.
• Develop strong relationships with clients and support the transformation of their marketing departments.
• Participate in international projects and business travel.
• Manage project resources, ensure delivery, and communicate successes across the company.
• Work closely with consulting counterparts to understand client needs.
• Mentor team members, provide feedback and help maintain high‑quality work.
• Research and develop new technical approaches and share best practices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in machine learning, mathematics, computer science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience developing data‑driven solutions in a corporate or consulting environment, preferably in consumer marketing.
• Strong knowledge of data processing, data modeling, algorithms and data architecture.
• Experience leading a technical project in a business context.
• Intellectual curiosity, excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to prioritize for maximum impact.
• Proactive “doer” attitude, analytical mindset, pragmatic approach, mentoring capability and entrepreneurial spirit.
