Junior Lawyer – M&A and Private Equity

About the role
This is a rare opportunity for a qualified Junior Associate to join a dedicated transactional M&A practice at a leading global law firm. You will work on large‑scale M&A and private‑equity transactions and financing across Africa, handling complex multi‑billion‑euro cross‑border deals.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior lawyers on public and private transactions, including drafting and negotiating agreements.
- Support the execution of M&A, ECM, and financing deals for leading corporations and financial investors.
- Contribute to client service excellence and mentor junior talent on technical matters.
Required profile
- 0 to 3 years of experience in M&A and ECM transactions at a top‑tier international law firm.
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken) with a proven track record serving French‑language clients.
- Strong commercial awareness and dedication to continuous professional development.
Required skills
- Advanced drafting and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
