Junior Project Controller

About the role

Gulf Associates is seeking a Junior Project Controller to support senior partners in advising a client managing a large logistics and infrastructure project. This full‑time, remote position focuses on tracking project health, validating data, and providing the factual basis for high‑stakes commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor timelines and resource allocation across multiple project streams to keep commercial objectives on track.
• Collect, organize, and verify financial data from counterparties and contractors.
• Prepare weekly status reports highlighting variances between planned budgets and actual spending.
• Research market costs, supplier rates, and industry benchmarks to assist in commercial positioning.
• Maintain detailed records of project decisions, commercial logic, and regulatory conversations.
• Support partners in drafting concise documentation for sovereign entities and private family groups.

Required profile

• Comfort working with numbers and a solid grasp of basic financial principles.
• Excellent written communication in plain English; brevity valued.
• Commercial curiosity and interest in large‑scale deals within complex territories.
• Strong self‑management skills for remote work and meeting deadlines independently.
