Kubernetes Technical Lead / Architect (Freelance)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Kubernetes Technical Lead / Architect to join a strategic, freelance project at Technopolis Rabat. You will be responsible for designing, building, and governing a modern, cloud‑native platform that supports multi‑cluster, high‑availability, disaster‑recovery, and hybrid‑cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce technical governance for Kubernetes workloads.
• Design and implement multi‑cluster architectures with HA, DR, and hybrid‑cloud connectivity.
• Lead the adoption of GitOps practices using ArgoCD or Flux.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and Ansible.
• Integrate service‑mesh solutions and drive platform‑engineering initiatives.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams on best practices and cloud‑native standards.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure and cloud engineering.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Kubernetes at scale.
• Proven track record in leading technical teams and establishing governance frameworks.
• Strong background in hybrid‑cloud, high‑availability, and disaster‑recovery design.
