Launch Manager – Project Implementation (m/f)

About the role

The Launch Manager will drive the local implementation of nominated projects from nomination through to start‑of‑production (SOP) and start‑up stabilization. You will work closely with the German headquarters and cross‑functional plant teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Execute local launch work packages across extrusion, thermoforming, injection molding, assembly and automation technologies.
• Prepare the production floor – layout, workplaces, utilities – and coordinate readiness actions with Production, Maintenance, Automation and Engineering.
• Manage tooling order release, track delivery dates and ensure tooling readiness.
• Maintain action lists, track milestones, provide status updates and escalate deviations.
• Support completion of industrialisation deliverables such as readiness checklists, acceptance evidence and PFMEA actions.
• Assist in Run@Rate activities and capacity confirmation.
• Track supplier deadlines, logistics for tooling/equipment and support supplier visits.
• Monitor tooling and machine costs against plan and maintain cost records.
• Ensure material and logistics readiness, including start‑up material availability and packaging.
• Guarantee documentation readiness – work instructions, checklists, parameter handover and maintenance documents.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Process or related field).
• Experience in project management, industrialisation or launch management within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of plastics processing technologies (extrusion, thermoforming, injection molding) is a strong asset.
• Fluent English (mandatory); French and German are a plus.
• Strong organisational, communication and reporting skills with a proactive, hands‑on mindset.
