Learning & Development Officer

About the role

The Learning & Development Officer will design, implement and monitor training initiatives that support Hirschmann’s talent strategy. You will act as a key partner for departments, ensuring new hires and existing employees receive effective learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the training plan specifications and develop proposals for discussion with requesting departments.
• Deliver HR onboarding modules and coordinate the mentoring program for new hires.
• Monitor Net Promoter Score (NPS) of new hires and evaluate training effectiveness through Level 1 and Level 3 assessments.
• Provide support on all training‑related matters and maintain communication with external training providers.
• Oversee the training plan lifecycle with partners such as OFPPT, ANAPEC, and GIAC, from submission to reimbursement.
• Ensure compliance with Hirschmann policies and contribute to continuous improvement of the management system.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar L&D role.
• Strong communication, presentation and initiative‑taking abilities.
• Excellent command of spoken and written French and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in managing and navigating a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Experience with e‑learning authoring tools.
• Competence in Learning KPI management and data analytics.
