Local Occupational Health, Safety & Wellbeing Officer

About the role

Allianz Services Morocco is looking for a Local Occupational Health, Safety and Wellbeing Officer in Casablanca. The role covers Occupational Health, Safety and Employee Wellbeing, ensuring compliance with Moroccan Health & Safety regulations and Allianz Services standards while promoting a safe, healthy and positive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Occupational Health Service and medical surveillance program, including pre-employment, periodic and return-to-work examinations, and act as the link between employees, management and the Occupational Physician.
• Maintain occupational health records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the technical representative of the CSH (Comité de Sécurité et d'Hygiène), organize meetings, workplace inspections and prevention activities, lead accident and occupational illness investigations and coordinate annual safety reporting.
• Carry out and maintain workplace risk assessments covering physical, ergonomic, psychosocial, emergency and remote-working risks, and verify compliance with health, safety, hygiene, fire prevention and emergency preparedness requirements.
• Develop and maintain emergency response procedures, evacuation plans and drills, and coordinate first-aid and emergency response teams.
• Deliver HSE induction and awareness sessions, run mandatory OHS and wellbeing training, and support the Employee Assistance Program, mental health awareness campaigns and psychosocial risk assessments.
• Maintain legal registers, safety documentation and incident records, support internal audits and continuous improvement, and report regularly to local management and the Global OH&S Officer.

Required profile

• Degree in HSE, QHSE, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or a related field.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent Health & Safety certification preferred; knowledge of ISO 45001 is an advantage.
• 3-5 years of Occupational Health & Safety experience, preferably in an office, services or corporate environment.
• Experience in risk assessment, compliance, training and safety governance.
• Fluent Arabic and French; English is an asset.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Moroccan Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
• Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable managing reports and compliance documentation and working in a local and international matrix environment.
