Logistics Manager

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead all logistics activities in Morocco, overseeing warehousing, transportation, and distribution to ensure safe, efficient, and cost‑effective operations that align with Transmed standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop logistics staff, ensuring adequate staffing and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Oversee day‑to‑day logistics operations, monitor KPIs such as on‑time delivery, cost per case, and utilization, and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with planning, sales, and finance teams to optimise supply‑chain flows and meet customer needs.
• Develop contingency plans, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with QA, HSSE, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain logistics infrastructure, vehicles, and equipment, enforce safety and security standards, and aim for zero accidents.
• Manage the logistics budget, negotiate with providers, and implement cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices in warehousing, maintain audit readiness, and drive continuous improvement for service reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field; Master’s or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) is a plus.
• 8–10 years of logistics and supply‑chain experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in the FMCG industry preferred.
