Logistics Manager

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead planning, budgeting and execution of logistical activities to ensure projects run smoothly, on time and within cost constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and budget logistical activities before project start to avoid delays.
• Organise departmental work to achieve timely, cost‑efficient outcomes.
• Monitor unit performance, guide staff and ensure high efficiency standards.
• Review policies and procedures, propose improvement initiatives.
• Define logistics strategies, manage outsourcing, select and evaluate subcontractors.
• Liaise with external partners to secure profitable agreements.
• Oversee logistics services for visitors and mission staff, handling complex situations.
• Resolve major queries, complaints and problems to maintain internal customer satisfaction.
• Conduct audits and inspections for compliance with hygiene, safety and other policies.
• Analyse cost reports, control budgets and support cost estimation.
• Motivate, train, develop and evaluate staff to maximise their potential.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in contracting, construction or similar sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Strong written and spoken English and French communication skills.
