Logistics Procurement Analyst

About the role

The Logistics Procurement Analyst supports sourcing, procurement, and optimisation of transportation and logistics services across the supply‑chain network. The role ensures cost‑effective, reliable, and compliant logistics operations while collaborating with plants, carriers, and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage transportation sourcing activities, prepare and execute RFQs, and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements with carriers and logistics providers.
• Analyse transportation spend, logistics performance, and market trends to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Monitor carrier performance metrics, support performance reviews, corrective actions, and onboarding of new providers.
• Collaborate with plants, procurement teams, and logistics stakeholders to optimise transportation strategies and material flow.
• Lead transportation implementation activities, coordinate route awards, and support operational escalations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and relevant regulations.
• Maintain transportation rates, contracts, supplier records, and reporting tools while driving continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics procurement, transportation management, freight sourcing or a related supply‑chain role.
• Experience managing carrier relationships across road, air, ocean and rail modes.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent English.
